Witte wieven - Limited Edition Print

The Witte Wieven are female spirits from Dutch and Germanic folklore, traditionally linked to mist, ancient hills and remote landscapes. In DOSA’s interpretation, this mythology becomes a starting point for a work that feels mysterious rather than literal. The image balances softness and unease, drawing the viewer into a world where familiar forms seem to shift in meaning. Folklore is not presented as a distant relic, but as something still present beneath the surface. Witte Wieven invites multiple readings, leaving space for imagination, memory and unease.

DOSA is a Dutch street artist from Nijmegen (The Netherlands), born in 1994. Fascinated by drawing and graffiti from an early age, he entered the graffiti scene through hip-hop culture around 2009. After studying at ArtEZ, he developed a distinctive visual language that combines technical precision with storytelling. His work brings together surrealism and folklore, merging the raw energy of street art with the traditions of classical painting. Each object functions as a clue, inviting viewers to create their connections. Rather than offering meanings, DOSA leaves space for imagination, interpretation and mystery.
