The first alter ego has landed For the very first Alter Ego artist edition, German street artist Flying Förtress puts his own spin on the original bijKlaas mascot. Known for his playful, slightly rebellious Teddy Troops, he breathes new life into familiar figures. The result? Recognizable, but tougher, stranger, and with attitude.

That's exactly what Alter Ego is all about: one identity, redrawn by someone else.

Limited to 50 shirts, each individually numbered. Every shirt comes with stickers featuring both egos. No reprints. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Flying Förtress

Flying Förtress is the commander of the infamous Teddy Troops. Since 20 years he is sending out his army to public space for visual occupation. But not with weapons but with style and humor. The Teddy Trooper icon/figure is a „shorten replacement“ to be used instead of his non-practical long artist name.

The Troops first appeared as graffiti throw-ups, stickers and posters in the streets in his town of birth Munich. But later spreading worldwide on his travels. Later the Teddy Troops also turned into 3D vinyl toys and got printed on t-shirts and skateboards. An increasing army on different medias. And still marching in 2024....

ALTER EGO

Alter Ego is an exclusive t-shirt line by bijKlaas, where one mascot takes on a new identity with every release.

Each edition invites a different artist to reinterpret the original bijKlaas mascot in their own visual language. The result is never the same: new characters, new attitudes, new worlds. One familiar shape, seen through a completely different lens.

Every design is released in a strictly limited run of 50 shirts only. No restocks. No second editions. Once an Alter Ego is gone, it becomes part of the story.
